For now, setting 'Aptitude::UI::Package-Display-Format' to "%x%a%M %p (%t) %Z 
%v %V" is passable, and can be made better with the features already supported 
by aptitude.

You can do this by adding/modifying a file under /etc/apt/apt.conf.d or by 
using the "-o" option on the command-line.  There's also probably a user-
specific configuration file.  I'm not sure what is it, but I think it is in 
the documentation.
