Pretty vague; what are the specs ? How much ram/swap etc. ?
I have that happen every once and awhile on my Toshiba 1800 with 128 mb of
ram; but that's expected when running a web browser on Xorg with such little
ram. I'm going to upgrade once I can find some for my model.
