Sid = unstable. I've been using it for over a year now (as a desktop
system), no big deals.

Beats me... you can always pull the sources for specific packages if
you want...

I use apt-get dist-upgrade every once in a while, it handles all the
mess, usually without a fuss.


And there's a debian-amd64 mailling list as well. ;-)
