squeeze upgrade process killed exim4 over here
On the date that I did it, the squeeze upgrade process killed exim4 over
here so I ended up replacing it with postfix. As time permits I'll try
installing exim4 again and see when exim4 and squeeze will live together
without trying to burn down the house. Can either of these packages first
be set up to pull email from a webmail account and send email out to a
webmail account, then be set up so they'll test the webmail account with
message activity and let the user know either that the way they set up the
transport does or does not work? My nearest internet service provider
only provides webmail accounts as do many others now. If this can be done
with one or both of these packages, what kind of configuration settings
are likely to make that work? I figure if this won't work, I can use
getmail4 and send everything out to an alternate smarthost.
