Yes: it is buggy. In particular, it doesn't build GMP 4.3.0 correctly
(I haven't looked at GMP 4.3.1 yet under lenny). The bug has been
fixed upstream (and in Debian/unstable), but it seems that there's
no hope to have it fixed in lenny. :(
