KDE update wants to remove konqueror and other packages

I use the amd64 port of Debian. A while ago a big KDE update was putinto unstable. I have not done the upgrade because synaptic wants toremove the following packages:


kaudiocreator
kcontrol
kde-core
kdeaddons
kdebase
kdebase-bin-kde3
konq-plugins
konqueror
libgvfscommon0
quanta
superkaramba
xserver-xorg-video-cyrix
xserver-xorg-video-tga
xserver-xorg-video-vga

Removing konqueror, kdebase, kde-core, and kcontrol worries me. is thisupgrade safe to do?
