Nothing of any information anywhere. So one must .... listen!

I had mine listening to [..], that is ipv6 and maybe some ipv4 as cited in the 
conf file's copius comments. Well, those "some" ipv4, alas has flown away.
Listening to *,[..] (in other words both ipv4 and ipv6, covering all bases) 
fixed it. Feuwwww!
