sure, though I don't know the details. What I mean is that being a
console app, and since I'm routinely ssh'ed in to my box anyway, mutt
has made imap unecessary for me. Ssh to my already running mutt
instance is like having the access of webmail with the convenience of
an MUA that sucks less. 

And I don't have to maintain mailer configs anywhere but my main
machine.
