ok, so I wanted to install cdrkit. I see cdrkit-doc installed, but it can't 
find cdrkit. So I download the source to cdrkit-1.1.9 and try  a make:
# make

if I use -Wno-dev that error goes away. and I have libcap-dev installed:

should I not be trying to install cdrkit?
I really wanted to just purge all the appropriate apps and build from source 
for my system..
other  options?
