Re: mount remote file system



I'm getting the same error. But I'm able to mount a device, which is 'read-write' able

Is there a relevant line in /var/log/syslog of the exporting machine?

Use another mountpoint than within /root, say /media/dvddir and check
for file and directory permissions.
