How could I work it around? Yes, this is a known bug. It also affects support of ICQ, AIM, Yahoo, Gadu-Gadu, MySpaceIM, QQ, and all other centrally-organized, proprietary, private IM systems. Most of them prohibit you from using any client other than their own in the first place, and enforce this by changing the protocol on a regular basis. The workaround? Don't use proprietary IM protocols: Cut them off instead. Use XMPP instead. -- Paul Johnson baloo@ursine.ca
