Usually less then 80, but <=72 would be a safe bet. BTW, signatures
should generally not exceed 5 rows (netiquette).
78 was too big. After 72 looks OK.
Is 5 rows really netiquette?
Yes. It's not as important now, though, as when modems were *slow*,
monitors small, and disk space expensive.
Just don't go crazy.
