In section "Device"
Option "AccelMethod" "EXA"
or
Option "AccelMethod" "XAA"
EXA is the new method, and theoretically better, but in
some cases, the implementation hasn't caught up yet
and XAA can be better.
Maybe post your whole xorg.conf while your at it.
