I don't read source code.  Primarily because I don't understand it.  I
can compile it and install it.  All so long as there are no errors, of
course.   :-)

I do know enough to install relevant libraries and -dev packages,
though.

Some say that that serves a purpose.  Whether that purpose is actually
_useful_ is arguable, of course.

There are still people that include many of the contentious words in
their .sigs for the same reasons.
