I am also a fluxbox fan, but recently I have started playing with
fvwm-crystal (http://fvwm-crystal.org/) on my Toshiba laptop and it is
pretty nice.

and fyi, i use debian with fluxbox on my P133, 16mb, compaq laptop. :D
