I've never seen any consensus that it's DFSG-free, and it's certainly not GPL-compatible, since AIUI it includes restrictions that the GPL doesn't (or at least the GPLv2, I don't know about v3). And AFAIK there are no CDDL packages in Debian ATM. What makes you say that it's "definitely accepted"?
