apt-cache search ftp

<too many lines>

apt-cache search ftp server

<still too many lines>

apt-cache search ftpd server

<pick a package from the list>

aptitude install fptd

and then read

/usr/share/doc/ftpd

and

man ftpd

and then if it doesn't work, ask again.
