Gallery2-Sarge

Hello - I've used Gallery2 and Gallery1 by installing from the tar.gz 
package from the menalto website.  I see they are available in Sarge, and I 
have questions about installing one codebase and using from several 
different virtual host URLs.

I'd like to know more about how the install goes using the deb packages. 
What are you asked during installation, ie do they give you a chance to 
install to virtual hosts?  I've read the support docs about how to do that 
starting with the tar/gz package, but I haven't been successful doing it 
that way for multiple virtual hosts on the same server, AND I know it would 
be generally more desirable to install from the sarge packages with a Debian 
package manager etc.

I'm guessing the deb packages install and then you are just directed to the 
/gallery2/install directory after which you proceed with the web installer 
like I do starting from the tar.gz package?  Or does Debian do it a 
different way?

Thanks any comments about gallery2 on virtual hosts.
