This I have forgotten to tell you :-)
You need to set the
XAPPLRESDIR=${HOME}/.Xresources
in one of your login files which are sourced like ~/.bashrc or
~/.xsession. And after this, all other is done automagicaly
Pleas note, that the structure is:
~/.Xresources/de_DE.UTF-8/
~/.Xresources/de_DE@euro/
~/.Xresources/de_DE/
~/.Xresources/de/
~/.Xresources/C/
~/.Xresources/
which mean, you can localize your Xresources.
NOTE: I have started a new project of localizing the
"/etc/X11/app-defaults" and it is a little bit more
complicate and a heavy job, but it works perfectly!
