it's a not normal situation... It's a bug!

It is certainly a bug. If the Debian package doesn't put the modules where they need to be, then it is a Debian bug. I opened Bug#420523 on it.

Oh, and Bug#420135 for the fact that the Debian nvidia-kernel-source won't build with kernel 2.6.20.

Yes, this response will "break the thread", because even though I'm running Kmail 1.9.6 (KDE 3.5.6) as suggested previously, there still is no option for replying to a single email inside of the Debian-User digest. Sorry.
