Our machines have a user defined for each family member and a group called family. If I create a file in a directory for which I have defined family as the group, other users cannot access the file because it is not created with family as a group. So I must manually set the group for each file. Can the the system be set so that files created under a particular directory will be allowed access by all members of the group defined for that directory?
