High CPU load, could it be raid?

Hello,
I noticed lately that my sarge box gets quite sluggish if I'm doing lots of
file tranfers. Especially when imaging about 10 workstations at the same time.
In the past, it seemed I could do about 30 without too much slow down.
(done via samba)

I noticed that when I image about 10 stations now, this
migration/0 process goes nuts and takes up about 85-90% CPU.
Plus you get a little lag on the command line.
After the imaging is done, things seem to go back to normal.
Running kernel 2.6.8-smp on a 3.4 Ghz Pentium 4 with HT turned on.

In the past, I had a 3 disk SW raid 5 which seemed to handle the load better.
Now its a 4 disk SW raid 10.
Could that cause the slow down?
What is this migration/0 thing? Haven't noticed it much before.

If I benchmark my array with bonnie on idle, I get about

65 M/sec block writes
25 M/sec rewrites
90 M/sec block reads

I think this is not bad.

Here's top on idle:

Not sure what else to check for.
Any ideas would be great! Thx,
