I'm glad it worked out. To reply to the list/thread in balsa,
hit the reply button then replace the address of the recipient
with the address of the list.

If you put the list address in the address book and give it a
nickname, you only have to type in the nickname on the To: line.

Also, if you go into Settings/Toolbars... you'll see a "Reply 
to Group" button that you can add to the toolbar. I haven't 
been able to test it, but it might work.
