I see in fonts.conf entries like:

		<match target="font">
			<test name="family">
				<string>Bitstream Vera Sans</string>
			</test>
			<test name="pixelsize" compare="less">
				<double>7.5</double>
			</test>
			<edit name="hinting">
				<bool>false</bool>
			</edit>
		</match>

So set 'false' to 'true'?

Where is a good place to read about how 'fonts.conf' works??

Thanks for your help,

Tom
