Don't knock it. I love my mc, but just now and again I use konqueror
instead, because it understands long file names. It is an excellent
file manager, and allows ftp drag-and-drop so you can think yourself
back seven years and pretend you are in doze98 using one of those gui
ftp clients (except konqueror doesn't crash every 7 minutes).
And it's a good browser.
