This can happen if you use UTC in your RTC (realtime or hardware clock) and dualboot with windows, which expects local time in the RTC, and may periodicallyreset it back to local time. In this case, you probably should reconfigureDebian to use local time to avoid the problem.

If you don't use UTC or don't dual boot with Windows, then its just a Debianconfiguration issue. I've always done it manually, but tzconfig may do what youneed.
