I think vim is trying to change the title of the Konsole window to
Vim.

I guess what you would have to do is xauth merge ~/.Xauthority,
and the problem should go away. At least it went away for me when I
had the same problem while running vim as root from the konsole of a
non-root user.

Or is it something else?
