for katakanji etc input processing, remapping the keyboard etc, but I
don't recall the name of it, sorry.
But with canna running, emails & web pages using those character sets
generally display just fine. Being a font junkie, I've spent the last
6 years collecting fonts, and the list that firefox opens in the prefs
is probably 2 to 3 screens high, and includes lots of them that I
couldn't pronounce with a gun to my head.
I suspect that if you install the appropriate i8n language packs, you
will get enough of those fonts to be functional.

People having trouble with vz bouncing email to me should add the word
'online' between the 'verizon', and the dot which bypasses vz's
stupid bounce rules. I do use spamassassin too. :-)
