It simply appears that the server you were trying to contact either
didn't respond or refused the connection. With the internet the way it
is, this isn't all that surprising. You could wait and try again later
to see if the server is back up, or try a different mirror in your
/etc/apt/sources.list file. The official mirror list is at
http://www.debian.org/mirror/list.
