fsck errors on boot

I've been off this list for a while, so excuse me if I missed something...

recently did a pretty big apt-get upgrade (probably 2 months worth) and now I get massive fsck errors on my boot, halting boot and dumping me to a shell.

errors look like this

/dev/hda3: Superblock last mount time is in the future
/dev/hda3: UNEXPECTED INCONSISTENCY; RUN fsck MANUALLY

this occurs for every partition on every disk at every reboot. And yes, I do run fsck manually in between.

anyone else seen this problem?

running unstable, 2.6.14 and 2.6.12 kernels in amd/nforce rig.

might be e2fsprogs issue? version 1.39 WIP (12-10-2005)

thanks

Andrew
