It's kind of late to reply to this email from October 2004, but I do it
anyways, as the problem persists and I couldn't come across a solution
on the web.

While it would be nicer to stop courier-imap (the daemon) from
connecting to this port at all, removing 111 (TCP) off the ports list
used by portsentry helped me removing this.
