No need to generalise. I run a stable desktop with no problems
*whatsoever*.

Which means that their releases are not as well-tested. I tried it on
my parents' machine. There were enough issues to make me wish I'd
installed Sarge.

OO2 was one of the show-stoppers. It hung every time it attempted to
import a Word document with an embedded image. What's all the fuss
about? It's becoming like the Microsoft world where many people think
they need the latest software, but don't know why.

I am still trying to work out why anyone would pick Fedora over the
plethora of other distros. The best answer I've seen so far is that
people think that it will help them on a career path working with RHEL,
"The Only Linux That Any Company Would Use".
