The reason is that your wireless config will change depending on your location and if you happen to not be at home, you're going to make your boot time 120 seconds longer than it needs to be. Instead, use the KWiFi stuffs and set up all the parameters in the control center. You can use the systray applet to make it easy to interact with. -- I use digital signatures and encryption.
