I'm sure in a post-y mood.
I now have multimon: a 1280x1024 with 3 transparent gnome-terminals showing
the debblue wallpaper, green text: an 80x25, an 80x44, and a 95x70.
The other mon is 1600x1200 with Firefox filling the whole screen. All
these stay up, and I do pretty much everything in the world in either
gnome-terminal or firefox.
I use kate for editing code.
Fluxbox gives me speed.
qiv and mplayer give me eyecandy :-)
What more could I need ? <g>
