before you'll have to press CTRL-D :)

Okey dokey, more clues. Here's the message as I wrote it down. The error does not show in any logs at all.

fsck.ext3 No such device or address when trying to open /dev/hdg1 Possibly non-existant or swap drive?
fsck failed. Please repair manually.
Give root password for maintance(or hit control+d to continue)

This is the previous message in the logs right before the error.
