Pressing the Help button on the GNOME 2.10 Save Screenshot dialog
box, I find this:
    Alt+Print Screen  Takes a screenshot of the window to which 
    the mouse points, and displays the Save Screenshot dialog. Use
    the Save Screenshot dialog to save the screenshot.

I guess we could *all* stand to RTFM occasionally.
