Still, I feel Seagate did now sell me an complete/compatible product.

I also feel they did't work with the linux kernel dudes to remedy the
situation.

(Did't they have an NDA on the info/fix/models ?)

Yes, that's why I bought them to. "Liquid bearings" just sounded cool.
Still my PSU makes more noice.
