Yes, of course you have to edit fstab, too. One workaround would be using devfs for 2.4 and udev with devfs notation in 2.6. If you only have one disc, you could then use "/dev/discs/disc0/part2", which should be the same for 2.4 or 2.6. Shade and sweet water!
