Re: OpenOffice and accented vowels

No deadkeys options in my XF86Config-4.

Here is the relevant part of the configuration.

Section "InputDevice"
        Identifier      "Generic Keyboard"
        Driver          "keyboard"
        Option          "CoreKeyboard"
        Option          "XkbRules"      "xfree86"
        Option          "XkbModel"      "pc105"
        Option          "XkbLayout"     "es"
EndSection

Also, accents work everywhere else! Like Hêŕë! But not in OpenOffice. So it is not an XFree fault. It should be an OpenOffice fault.

It is not the first time I get with this problem, and I'm about to let OO out of the computer, being Gnumeric an Abiword so advanced indeed. The only thing I'll miss out is presentations, but my workflow is latex->keynote->quicktime, so adieux OpenOffice. Too bad Gnumeric still needs X on the mac. Maybe a little off-topic...

Anyway, best regards!

Saverio
