Looks like your firewall is logging lots of packets. I get similar
behavior with firestarter. I'm not sure you *can* turn them off, since
they're kernel messages, but it might be worth a try if you don't care
about them.

On the other hand, you can try running logrotate more often, instead of
daily or weekly. These kinds of messages compress extremely well because
of all the redundancies.
