This bug has been fixed, I've been told. Besides that shouldn't matter
here, caus' I have the same problemes as root as well as normal user.

ATA didn't work for me, but but ATAPI did:

cdrecord -v speed=4 dev=ATAPI:0,1,0 image.iso

Thanks for the good tip, I can now burn using cdrecord from commandline.
