Big disk problem >120G

Hello,

I have update my hardware, runing debian woody 3.0, to a 160G HD. I
have created with "system rescue CD" the folowing partitions:

  primary: /dev/hda1, hda2 /hda3
  extended /dev/hda5 hda6 hda7 hda8

And runing debian i was not able to read the partition table, fdisk
fails. but read all partitions except hda8 (as if it does not exist)

Why do I have this limit. Must I use other kernell??? boot option???

 Thank you for all
