atitvout problem
hi all,
i have a problem trying to connect my laptop to the tv screen.
i connected the tv to the laptop before i boot,i get a black screen
until the xfree come up it turns to black and white lines going like
crazy on the screen.
i downloaded the atitvout thats what i got when i type different
commands of the atitvout
atitvout -r vbe
Forcing Radeon/Rage 128 mode
VBE Version: 2.0
VBE OEM Identification: ATI MOBILITY RADEON 9600
my card is ATI MOBILITY RADEON 9700 not 9600 does that make a problem????
atitvout -r detect

CRT is attached.
doesnt this have to tell that the tv is connected ???

Maybe this command is not supported by your graphics adapter?
Did your parameters (if you specified some) really make sense?

all the other commands give the same message.
