Does anyone know of a way (or can you think of a way) to automatically mount a remote filesystem whenever the other machine is up? An ssh-based filesystem would be preferrable, or one that supports unix-like protection flags etc would be good, but any will do. It needs to be at the VFS level rather than via KDE IOSlaves or GNOME's Filesystem though, since blender and other apps aren't aware of such things. Thanks for reading :) -- Lee.
