to get wpa working ..
	- you need to tweek the wireless router ( ap )

	  commercial ap and clients are not always compatible	
	  especially from different vendors

	- you need to tweek your wireless client
	- you need compatible hw for the drivers

the best option seems to be the hostap drivers
and the madwifi drivers ( as a wpa client )
