Angelina, they changed the profile location to default to
~/.mozilla/firefox instead of ~/.firefox. But to keep backward
compatability if Firefox found a ~/.firefox directory it would use those
settings instead. So it looks that your profile was created before the
changeover and a new one was never created after that!
