Kuickshow doesn't show jpg images

I use Debian sid on a PC with the i686 architecture. Kuickshow 4:3.3.2-1 
is installed. I have a bad habit of updating daily using synaptic. In 
the last few days (today is Apr 5, 2005), Kuickshow stopped displaying 
previews of JPEG images. It will still display "gif" and "png" images. 
What is the problem?
