Remember that Google has servers throughout the world, even different servers
in the same country. What you get as a result may or may not be the same as
what he gets. I've even tried it with people in the city where I live. I've
gotten different results for a search as a friend across the river got. And
it can further complicate things depending on the order of the words you
enter. For example, you entered, in order, Debian, Sarge, and release. I
have had times where I needed an answer, and didn't get it, but simply
re-arranged my search terms and got different results, and finally got a page
with the answer I wanted.

So, while it is likely he would get something useful with a search like this,
there is a fair chance that if he did a search, he might get pages other than
what you get.

And, a useful trick, would be to restrict the search to debian.org, where it
is more likely to yield a useful answer.
