Today I tried to reboot my Debian/Sid KDE workstation. KDE/KDM shutdown fine but I was left at the console. I logged in as root and ran the reboot command and got an error saying it couldn't find the file /dev/inictl. I had a look for the file and it was there as a symlink to /.dev/initctl. This file doesn't exist. Have checked the Debian BTS and couldn't find anything relevant. Can anyone help me out here? Thanks, Andrew
try as # reboot -f and than google to analyse hope this helps groet'n steef
