intel dual-gigE is probably the best bet for its price ... but its
performance suck

	http://www.Linux-1U.net/PCI/#NIC

btw.. mini-itx mb are also 1 slot only and lot cheaper ..

syskonnect are lot more ( 2x - 5x ) pennies

quad port nics are just under 2x the costs of equivalent dual-port nics

c ya
alvin

- shuttle xpc ( sb52g2 ) suck the big one ... 15% failure rates of the
batch we bought and will not touch them toyz again .. and nope not 1z
low volume stuff .. we buy/sell stuff by the 100's or 1000's of various
flavors depending on the phase of the moon and the customers ( wolfs vs
gorilla vs lepricons vs .. )

- if anybody local ( silicon valley wants a "free" shuttle xpc )... come
on by and bring a legit offer :-) ... down to "free" if you wanna "work"
  for it

- free cpu fans too .. while we at it ..
	( free as in come n get it ( 1 or 2 ) )

- its spring cleaning .. sorta

- plz email offlist if u want um
